Norway in a Nutshell (Bergen Round Trip)

Day 28 (25 July 2017)

Today, we went on the Norway in a Nutshell tour. For us, it starts from Bergen to Voss via the railway. Then on the bus to Gudvangen. From there, we went on the fjord cruise that takes us through the Nærøyfjord and Aurlandsfjord. We arrived at Flåm, had an hour break, then rushed off to go on the famous Flåm railway to Myrdal, and back to Bergen on the usual railway where we started.

I don't remember much of this tour, except that we are always on the wrong side of the bus and train where the view always seems better the other side.

The highlight of the trip is when the bus drive down the steep hairpin bends of Stalheimskleiva. And I caught a glimpse of this magnificent view. Really wish that we could get off the bus and take a decent photo.

Gudvangen. A picture perfect moment.

When you spot a "viking boat", and just have to do the tourist thing.

On the fjord cruise and past by a couple of little towns near the water.

The Flåm railway. Sadly, the only photo we got because we spent too much time find something to eat and had to rush on the train.

I don't get excited about waterfalls in general. But this Kjosfossen waterfall is WOW. The train even stopped for a few minutes so that we can get off and take a few photos. There was a little surprise where a lady in red danced in front of the waterfall.
