Stockholm - Part 2

Day 8 (5 July 2017)

We bought the 48 hours Stockholm Pass from the tourist center first thing in the morning. And we were on a mission to get our money worth. (Note: The 48 hours pass costs 795 SEK per person.)

First stop - Under the bridges of Stockholm boat tour. (795 SEK - 260 SEK = 535 SEK).

We hopped on the hop on hop off bus for a loop around Stockholm. (535 SEK - 400 SEK = 135 SEK). Then stopped at the Vasa museum. (135 SEK - 130 SEK = 5 SEK).

Our next stop - SkyView (5 SEK - 150 SEK = -145 SEK). I think this is a waste of time (and therefore money) to be honest. The SkyView is in the middle of nowhere. It took us about 45 minutes to walk from the closest hop on hop off stop to the SkyView, and the view was hardly worth the time and effort.

Went to Meatballs for the People but was disappointed to learn that they were closed for the summer holidays. There was a note on their door that recommended Nytorget 6 just a block away where they serves their meatball also. And so that was where we went for dinner.

Meatballs for the people - with cream gravy, potato puree, preserved lingonberries and pickled cucumber.

Steamed and lightly marinated char with butter & pernod tossed primeurs and asparagus sauce.

Last stop for the day - Fotografiska to check out some photo exhibitions.  (-145 SEK - 130 SEK = -275 SEK)

Still so bright at 10pm.
