The hike that we have been looking forward to for months, and also with apprehension of our fitness if we were able to make it to the top. We have prayed for good weather. But the weather god must have hated us, as the weather was shit! It makes the hike really challenging because the rocks are really slippery. We saw a lot of slips and falls along the way, and we had a couple of near misses ourselves.
View of pulpit rock from the bottom.
Wefie at the start of the hike when we are still dry.
The hike begins. It is pretty much like that all the way uphill.
Lunch break. The rain makes the bread so moist.
2 hours later... we made it. I love this photo because the happiness and relief on our faces are real. We temporary forgot that we still have to hike back down later.
This is as close as we dare to the edge.
We encountered several small stack of rocks during the hike. J thinks that people stacks the rocks for good luck. So I put one small rock on top of this stack for luck. Haha.
Despite of the cold, and the rain, and that we were dripping wet by the end of it, and we can't see much of the view because of the stupid rain, it is still one of the greatest highlights of our trip. We are glad that we did this. But will we do it again? Probably not.
This marks the end of our Scandinavia adventure.
